Songcraft guests include some of the most honored and celebrated songwriters of the last several decades. Below is a selection of our interviewees who've been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Music Hall of Fame, or the Grammy Hall of Fame.

* The BMI Icon Award, the performing rights society's highest honor, that recognizes a songwriter's "unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers."

* The ASCAP Founders Award, the performing rights society's most prestigious recognition, "given to songwriters and composers...who possess a unique style of creative genius, which will enrich generations to come."

* The ACM Poets Award, "presented to a country music music songwriter for outstanding and longstanding musical and/or lyrical contributions throughout their career." 

* Induction to regional music halls of fame, and exceptionally rare recognitions such as Kennedy Center honors or the National Medal for the Arts.
